Google uses full load of CPU in Google search tabs left unattended

|Description=After searching the web with Google and leaving the browser tab open, after some time, the CPU goes full (or nearly full) load.
Happened repeatedly.
}}After searching on Google web search and leaving the web browser tab unattended, all CPU cores are used to the full load or at least quite close to them maximum, using all of the available CPU's computing power. [https://www.reddit.com/r/MicrosoftEdge/comments/1b2m9qe/idle_google_search_tabs_are_using_all_of_my_cpu/][https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1t1auaj/bizarre_cpu_load_with_google_ai/]

Some users also report sudden CPU usage spikes caused by searching, for example 30 or 50%. [https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1t9njay/google_search_causing_sudden_cpu_spike/] [https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/u6fg0a/why_was_this_simple_google_search_tab_taking_up/] [https://www.reddit.com/r/browsers/comments/1kcjnrl/google_search_results_in_high_cpu_usage_and_spike/]

Closing the browser tab or the whole web browsers lowers the CPU load to normal immediately.

This Reddit post by user Hukkinent [https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1sofmc5/comment/oh8u5rr/], is describing, what is most likely happening:
''"I noticed the same thing. Google seems to off-load their AI computation to the browsers.''

''Because the CPU consumption increase happens only after the AI mode output produced (and the page on idle), this suggests, that these are not my computations but that of somebody else, because my output is already ready.''

''So, to speculate: is Google doing distributed computing on a consumer browsers without our consent?''

''How this differs from crypto-mining? – I'm getting the search results on the spot, computed by somebody else's browser, which is kind of OK, except''

''– my laptop getting hot and the battery being consumed,''

''– the CO2 cost of computation difference between data center vs. inefficient browser edge computation, and''

''– user data privacy: are tokens from other persons routed to the browser of some other user and how are they masked/reindexed or encrypted?"''
