ÅSKVÄDER uses a proprietary connector between modules and the "regular" wall outlet but the cable with Schuko to this proprietary connector has proven to be a major challenge to obtain.<br />
If IKEA decides to discontinue these cables all together, it means you'll likely have to throw out the entire system if said cable breaks for whatever reason.<br />
This issue could have easily been prevented by using a more standard connector like the C13 which can readily be obtained from a variety of sources and is highly unlikely to be discontinued.<br />
