A native summary of how to MediaWiki might be helpful. The "Help about MediaWiki" page is vast and potentially overwhelming to the casual editor.

In time it will be good to move away from using special pages, like AllPages or Categories for organization. The wiki's just getting started of course, but good search optimization will become relevant very soon if the project is to grow.

More tips and tricks:
* Append ?action=purge to the URL if a page is not refreshing correctly.
* Append ?uselang=qqx to view interface messages, for admins+ who want to know these quickly.
* Learn to source edit sooner than later. It is more reliable than visualeditor.
* Find a stressball so you can handle garbage ai captchas that presume to judge if you are a human or not.
