|[[Ubisoft]]
|On March 31st 2024, Ubisoft shut down servers for online game ''The Crew,'' after the game was pulled from digital storefronts some time in December of 2023. The game was online-only, despite the majority of the game not requiring multiplayer to progress through the story.
A few days before the servers were due to shut down, users who had purchased the game prior to its removal from storefronts had their licenses revoked. Whilst the game was still able to be downloaded and launched for some, the full game was not playable, only a demo. Those who launched the game on Steam after March 31st were prompted for a CD key, which was impossible to activate.

|[[Swiffer]]
|When using a Swiffer wet jet power mop you need to buy Swiffer's WetJet Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner which comes in a bottle with a cap on it that the customer can not take off and refill with their own floor cleaner of their choice. The cap is "locked" with plastic hooks that prevent refilling and force the customer to buy another bottle which is heavily priced.
