HBO Max (previously Max) is a streaming service created in 2020 by Warner Bros.[1] In May 2023, the service rebranded to Max,[2] but this has since changed.

Lifetime subscription downgrade (2025)

Users of the ad-supported tiers would also see the removal of the sports and live news features on March 30[3], with the latter being in "open beta" since late 2023.[4] The live news feature was previously advertised "to all Max subscribers for no additional cost" from release to February 2025.[5]
