Changing tone feels like rocket science, so I am using this page to not have as big of a pressure to have my browser tab open

Discord is an instant messaging platform separate from the Consumer Rights Wiki website.

https://consumerrights.wiki/w/Tesla_cybertruck_voids_warranty_if_advertised_Power-Your-Site_feature_is_used
It has its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy agreements, with elements that may be considered violations of consumer rights including its forced arbitration and class action waiver terms. More info is available on the CRW Discord page.

I don't want to use Discord. Do I have to?
No.
If you have general questions about the wiki (editing, discussing sources, etc), you can use the search bar at the top to see if your question has been answered already.
If you didn't find anything, you can make a new section at the Moderators' noticeboard (A link is also available on the left sidebar.)
So why the Discord link?
...These Cybertruck models tend to have large battery capacities around 120kWh.[1] These vehicles consume much more power for their driving operation, like when they are accelerating 0-100km/h (60mph) under three seconds with their over 200kW motors[1]. It is a power requirement that the batteries should handle easily, so it is expected that if regular driving falls within battery warranty that this "Power Your Site" feature would also fall under warranty, especially if it is advertised without any disclaimers.[2]
Discord is a common platform used by many people to connect and collaborate with each other in real time, and many people already have accounts on it. While it is not a perfect platform, a more suitable platform that can replicate its instantaneous, organized conversation has not yet been agreed upon.

draft:
There is an ongoing discussion for the main page on possible platform alternatives: Please add cautions to discord link

draft 2:

This means that it is possible ...
Final ed note: Anyone is free to edit this page. I'll make a Sandbox 2 eventually if I need one

random notes:

as of 2025-06-05 it is still dubiously covered under the current limited warranty. page 6; isn't being "stationary" part of powering a house?; | page 8, "Using the vehicle as a permanent or long-term power source with signs of unreasonably high energy throughput that may be inconsistent with the mileage driven;" what is determined as unreasonable? do they get that sole power? I may need to bring this to a talk page, updating the info is not the scope I had when first starting this draft page.

the only thing i know about electric vehicles is from Technology Connections ok. please be patient 🧢
