On August 23, Chevron Federal Credit Union notified the Attorney General of Maine about a vulnerability in MOVEIt that resulted in unauthorized access to name and financial information affecting over 90,000 customers.[1] This resulted in a class action lawsuit against Chevron Federal Credit Union on September 11, 2023 due to failing to protect the personal information of current and former customers cyberattack.[2] The lawsuit is still ongoing.
