The removal of 4o caused an outrage amongst the users of this model. On January 29, 2026, OpenAI announced they will be removing definitely for non-API users some legacy models, including GPT-4o. The movel was officially removed in February 13, 2025. ChatGPT-4o will be removed for API usage on April 2026 {{Citation needed}}
