So we have obfuscation of search results, reason lets say "undecided" I doubt they are good doe. We have the AD-Banner they shows or does not, connected to the buypower of your account. Oh I forgot, the Mobile Versions, its worse there you always have to use the search function in combination with terms like "Thriller" "Fanatsy" "Science fiction" and so on only after you can use filters or else you click or use their tempered search results. They even made this worse by excluding the show all results in the menu where you pick genres. Its only accesable via the beforementioned search method. This change is absolutly not for user friendlyness or useability on the contrary it got worse over time. Always small incremental changes.

Not even that, the cancelation button after this even doe you already pressed cancel is now at the bottom of the screen: We all know it with the text along the line, I really want to cancel. Guess were the real cancel button is after that, beside all the ADs you have to scroll by that are for some reason now shown to you its at the bottom of the page. Why do I need Audiobook ADs in the Menu-system of My Account configuration? Thats just a side note. Ok thats that.

MAN I am really bad at short sentences: Go to -> My Account, there you see in the Middle the option to cancel your subscription. beside this option is the another button that says -> Pause subscription. Even if you ignore this button and press on "Cancel subscription" you get forwarded to another page. The first thing you see there is the "scare tactic (Loss of Token/Audiobooks)" if you cancel, even doe you already pressed cancel! This step at least in germany is illegal, be it the scare tactic or the ignorance of the first cancalation attempt. Furthermore on the forwarded page after the first cancalation press, you again get shown at the top of the page, the option to rather pause the cancalation, instead of for example: Yes I am sure CANCEL NOWWWWWWWW! ;-) this is now hidden at the bottom of the page. You have to scroll past ADs that inform of audiobooks that for some reason now are included into your "User controlcenter", keep in mind I started in the Account settings, now I get shown ADs, the option to pause and an obstructed way to the REAL cancel button. This is clearly obfuscation at the least and in my countrys case, pretty much illegal.

One good thing, if you want to refund a Token its easy if your Account has a good standing. If not doe, yeah manual review time. Audible framed or rather hid the process like this: Refund 2-4 times dont know the excact amount, at one point an error accours while refunding. At least this was the case in the beginning, now they sometimes even tell you that too many refunds have accoured. Btw, my account is probably 10 years old by now, as long I am using Audible as paying customer.

So this still happens pretty fast, I normally only refund if audible showed me the wrong Audiobooks or I bought the german version even doe I wanted to by the English version. Sometimes If I see ~~they again seem to have~~ rigged ~~the~~ reviews (no I dont have evidence for this, sadly). When this happens you have to contact support, in germany at least this worked pretty flawlessly cant complain.

Sometimes If I see rigged reviews, I also refund (no I dont have evidence for this, sadly). I only said rigged because alot of my reviews never show up even doe I do not use swear words, or insults or anything that could be described as such. If they decline them they do that btw, silently you never get notified of this only when you contact support. Therefore they prettymuch moderate what they deem a good review and this has pretty much nothing to do with terms or conduct. German support confirmed that several times for me (yep I am annoying like this, sorry), they always frame it as a system error or "wrong" automatic flagging. Maybe also a cosumer rights point, dont know.
