The SNOO Smart Baby Sleeper is a product with a price tag of $1,695.00 USD. The purchasing page was updated to have a "subscription plan" on June 11, 2024. The wording was changed on July 15, 2024 to add a limit to the free premium subscription of nine months. Happiest Baby's announcement blog post cites resale markets putting a burden on the company as the reason. For original owners before July 15, 2024 who purchased direct from Happiest Baby or authorized partners, access to all premium features is supposed to remain. Secondhand users need to pay for premium features. Original owners purchasing from Happiest Baby or authorized partners after July 15, 2024 only get 9 months of premium features.
