On December 31, 2024 Magic Leap released an article detailing the end of life of their product, the Magic Leap 1. In this article, they explain that the device will no longer be supported. As the article states, the device core functionality including the device and its apps as well as cloud services are no longer available. On August 30th, 2023 Magic Leap send out an email to customers announcing the end-of life of the Magic Leap 1 after  December 31st, 2024. The device needs to reauthenticate against the Magic leap Servers annually.
