Shorter answer: Too broad of a concept for the wiki and individual articles on this have been made. Longer answer: This seems far too broad of a concept for an article in the wiki. We have specific examples of cars collecting data, and those examples if they could exist can just be made in a category. Irrelevant article?
Shorter answer: Too broad of a concept for the wiki and individual articles on this have been made. Longer answer: This seems far too broad of a concept for an article in the wiki. We have specific examples of cars collecting data, and those examples if they could exist can just be made in a category. AnotherConsumerRightsPerson (talk) 19:34, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
- Why is this too broad for the wiki? What are the sub-concepts that it could be split into?
- Should it be a product article about cars? If we just have a bunch of incident articles about particular makes/models/whatever -- who cares? Who would use it; for what? If every would-be user of this wiki has to make their own synthesis of the little pieces that are here, not many people will bother to use this wiki.
- If we have a theme or product article on a particular topic, backed up with specific incidents, then that is something could hand to somebody, here are the general issues, here is how it plays out in specific practice, all they have to do is plug in the parts about some new use case.
- I think automobiles are big enough thing in people's lives to warrant at least one theme article. Is there already one, which this should be merged into? Maybe this should be moved? I don't know. Drakeula (talk) 23:18, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
