If we should add it, I’ll way back to find when the change happened. It frustrates me when they sent me the email “informing” me of the change some years ago. I’ll never buy from their store after that. Just wish I’d brought Anno on steam ;) {{Unsigned|Bramski}} 03:23, 20 January 2025 (UTC) | If we should add it, I’ll way back to find when the change happened. == Changes to Privacy Policy without explicit consent ==
I recently got a mail from Ubisoft about Privacy Policy changes that will come into effect in 2026-03-20. It includes:
"You will have until 20 March 2026 to accept the updated Terms of Use. If you do not accept them by this date, they will come into effect for you and all our users on that date.
If you do not accept these changes, you can request the closure of your Ubisoft account via the Account Management Page."
It might be worth to mentioning changes to contracts like Privacy Policies require explicit consent and not accept-by-default, backed up by GDPR. [[Special:Contributions/2001:AC8:30:D:8C6C:3E08:AE4D:AA2B|2001:AC8:30:D:8C6C:3E08:AE4D:AA2B]] 09:33, 12 February 2026 (UTC)
