On July 1st of 2023, Arlo announced two of their popular home security cameras would be designated End Of Life (EOL). In January 1st of 2025, Arlo designated 6 more popular products to this category.<ref name=":3" />

Despite the purchase of the device already being made, Arlo has the power to unilaterally decide not to follow their end of the deal by not providing the service the consumer paid for.
