Google Play removes "all files" access to competitor app Nextcloud, hindering it's capabilities
Since around December 18 2024 Google Play has removed the "all files" permissions from Nextcloud, this permissions allowed the app to not only sync your photos and videos, but any other files or directories you desired. Since the forced change the app has not been working as before and even failing to backup photos and videos. Developers have their hands tied because the restrictions came directly from Google.
