if you have issues installing the firmware, on their own website the first thing they tell you to do is to try installing the firmware on another machine, in this particular case im not sure why they do that, but the only reason i can think of is that the software is built to recognize a particular computer. they advise you to "enable input monitoring permission" in order to fix a fundamental bug with their software, they also state that a vpn or firewall may hinder the use of their software. a software that is meant for computer periferals. this is obviously a blatant invasion of the consumer's privacy, but lets assume they are doing completely honorable things with that data.
