Change.org is a website which allows users to create and sign petitions in an attempt to advance various social causes by raising awareness and influencing decision-makers.

Consumer-impact summary

• Buisness model - Lets people host their own petitions hoping to get signatures and possibly change law.
• Privacy Policy - Gets geolocation data to show local petitions that may be of interest and things like postal address and telephone number are optional.
• Profit - Has a subscription service to help it keep running, but some people have had issues of them billing even though they closed down their account.

Advantages

Some might say that Change.org can be used to change and make new laws and to help stop companies from doing malicious things. Additionally, Change.org can be used worldwide, so you can make petitions wherever you live. They could also say that Change.org gives you a voice, helping you make a difference.
