I don't see why not. AnotherConsumerRightsPerson (talk) 11:13, 30 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Create a page form

@Keith do we just use the theme article template for laws? We should probably incorporate that in. Or do we make a new form for laws? AnotherConsumerRightsPerson (talk) 11:16, 30 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

from the project page: "At the moment, we do not have a specific page template or any metadata collection for pages about laws. The only real rules are that they need to follow all the standard wiki guidelines, as well as be included in the relevant category (e.g. laws of the United Kingdom) so that readers can find them. One of the big things here is that article writers should not attempt to interpret the laws themselves, and instead should rely on citations to back up any statements about what the laws mean in practice. If you find or create a format you really like and you think could be generally applicable to pages about laws, feel free to propose that it be made into the default."
unless there's a format that really jumps out as being ideal, this probably remains my take on it. I think the theme layout is probably not going to be exactly suitable for the law articles, as it's not really designed for that (e.g. the existence of the 'why is it a problem' heading) Keith (talk) 15:16, 30 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Add EU?

Should there be a section for EU laws such as GDPR? Andrew V (talk) 01:39, 31 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
