Incidents
This is a list of all consumer-protection incidents this company is involved in. Any incidents not mentioned here can be found in the Deerrun walking pads & treadmills startup category.
Out of box setup
The product comes with numerous stickers attached with confusing and conflicting advice, including registering the product online and downloading an exercise app called "PitPat". A large "Quick & Easy Guide" gives the following warning: "Attention! Your treadmill is currently unable to start properly because you have not yet activated your warranty benefits". A separate sticker claims: "This activation is essential for your treadmill's operation."
Also noted is a customer service line if you do not have a mobile phone/internet access, meaning it's possible to activate the product without needing connection to the internet.
A series of inputs on the included remote can be entered to unlock your treadmill, which can be given to you by the customer service line after refusing to download the app. This is included nowhere in the manual.
