Osmo Action 5 Pro action camera requires the owner to use the DJI Mimo smartphone app. Action camera can only be used 5 times without using the app for "activation". After 5 times the usage of the camera is impossible unless the DJI Mimo app is installed and used to "activate" the camera.

This is an anti-consumer practice forcing the user to install and use propriatary software on their mobile devices.
