Welcome to the Consumer Action Taskforce!

The mission of this Wiki is to document a new generation of consumer exploitation that bears no resemblance to issues of the 1950s-1990s. We focus on the issues that often go unnoticed by review sites, tech press, and traditional consumer protection publications.

Help fight consumer exploitation

Your #1 mission: Turn videos into wiki articles

Where to start — what we need from you

  1. Go to the Video Directory.
  2. Pick a video that interests you.
  3. Create an article following our content guidelines.
  4. Edit the Video Directory with a link to your article.

Why?

We're building a wiki to document consumer protection issues; every time a company has taken part in the anti-ownership, anti-privacy, anti-consumer practices that Louis has discussed on his channel for the past decade.

Each video in our directory contains valuable information about consumer rights violations that needs to be transformed into wiki articles.

What you'll get:

When you click on any video in the directory, you'll find:

  • ✓ A full video transcript
  • ✓ An AI-generated summary

Not ready to write? That's okay! You can still help by:

  • 🔍 Reviewing videos in the directory
  • ✅ Marking irrelevant videos for review
  • ➕ Adding missing relevant videos to the list
