Wikidata

I think adding a Wikidata QID field to this infobox would be good in the spirit of data interlinking.

Also, if you're willing to set up the Wikibase client extension, some of the other fields could be pulled from Wikidata:

• Founded is P571 inception
• Industry is P452 industry / P1056 product or material produced, but the data is messy
• Logo is P154 logo image (may require InstantCommons)
• ParentCompany is P749 parent organization or unit
• Type is P1454 legal form / P31 instance of, but the data is messy
• Website is P856 official website / P13337 domain name

Yes, but sadly this is not likely to happen. Basically, all ____Cargo templates use an extension that is hard to use, and basically pretty much all of the contributors that know how to use the extension have left. AnotherConsumerRightsPerson (talk) 18:29, 9 April 2026 (UTC)

It could be done already if every single page and template of interoperability importance wasn't protected. It's worse than DRM. Same with main page pages. The wiki is probably losing more contributors due to the nonsensical limitations, than it is gaining in value from protection against any hypothetical vandalism. Name (or Company) field

Please add Name (or Company) field to the template, to render instead of the default {{PAGENAME}}, so that it can be used when "company" doesn't need its own page. See UOKiK (consumer protection agency) in Poland article. Tracerneo (talk) 14:49, 16 May 2026 (UTC)
