Bumpgate, also known as Nvidiagate, was a scandal where Nvidia Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) were prone to high failure rates due to a design flaw that led to cracked solder bumps under the die. This defect primarily affected Nvidia GPUs made from 2006 to 2010, including those used in the Microsoft Xbox 360 and the Sony PlayStation 3.
