Hacked by OurMine (2016)

The hacker group OurMine hacked into multiple YouTube channels after their passwords were leaked in third-party database dumps. After the accounts were hacked, OurMine used VidIQ to modify all the channels' video titles and description to "Hacked by OurMine".

To prevent further breaches, VidIQ reset the passwords and implemented a multi-factor authentication for when users try to edit video titles and descriptions.
