EULAs

This kind of thing is sadly ubiquitous in most games and software that have a EULA, which again, are everywhere.

If the company has not abused this EULA, does is still hold place on the wiki? I'm genuinely asking because if so we would have to include basically every AAA company that has clauses such as these.

No offense intended, I genuinely want to know HeavenPiercerYama (talk) 01:57, 31 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Ya, was just clicking through random pages and found this. Nothing here is special about nameco bandai. It's like the author doesn't understand how literally every piece of software is licensed for you to use. Even open source software is the same. You don't own the code, and unless you write it yourself, you never will.
Going to nominate for deletion if I can figure out how.... Mandle Rex (talk) 09:17, 1 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
I think for something like this, the relevant clauses may warrant a mention on the Bandai Namco page, but I'd agree that they don't need their own page.
Having a license rather than ownership is relatively normal, but I don't think it's common among OSS or whatever to say 'we can terminate your ability to use the software at any time' or similar. Keith (talk) 10:49, 1 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
