Sky provides live TV in the UK. They are monopolistic and have horrible terms of service and trap you in contracts.

Sky has a set top box called Sky Q. You dont own the device but rent it from them and once you terminate the service - they send packaging and you have to return it and hope its not damaged.

Sky contracts - they trap you in 2 year contracts, you cant leave and they increase the prices every April. They wont tell you what the increase will be at the start of the contract and you're stuck.

The way they bundle their packs - you need to have sky ultimate to add on sky sports ( can't have a basic plan)

They give new users a better deal, despite them claiming you're a valued customer. And if you change to a streaming box as its cheaper I need to pay 40 pounds extra which a new user doesn't.
