I am your constituent in Denver county, district 26.

Due to recent lobbying efforts, the Senate Business, Labor, & Technology Committee voted to advance SB26-090 to amend a 2024 Consumer Right to Repair Digital Electronic Equipment law HB24-1121. Colorado got a lot of praise for it in the press and with the public at the time.

Everyday citizens are against this amendment. SB26-090 weakens the law we have and our repair rights by restricting our ability to repair IT equipment including servers and routers. This limits repair options and will increase the cost of fixing critical electronic equipment.

Please vote NO on SB26-090 and protect our Right to Repair.
