The hacker group OurMine hacked into multiple YouTube channels after their passwords were leaked in third-party database dumps. After the accounts were hacked, OurMine used VidIQ to modify all the channels' video titles and description to "Hacked by OurMine".[1]
To prevent further breaches, VidIQ reset the passwords and implemented a multi-factor authentication for when users try to edit video titles and descriptions.
