GrapheneOS
GrapheneOS, formerly known as CopperheadOS, is an open-source, security-focused, and Android-based operating system.[1] As of 2025, GrapheneOS only officially supports Google's Pixel product line because it is the only product that meets their security standard.

Positive
German Security Researcher and Pentester Kuketz said that it was the "...gold standard of Android ROMs...".[14]
Cellularnews.com stated "GrapheneOS is arguably the best mobile operating system in terms of privacy and security."[15]
Negative
Louis Rossmann, a consumer rights advocate and influencer, praised the project, but criticized the Lead Developer, Daniel Micay, for a conversation between the two which accuses Rossmann of promoting harassment, slander, and attempted murder of Micay for commenting on a Techlore video stating: "This is informative, and unfortunate." Micay subsequently threatened to ban Rossmann from their Matrix channel, and accused him of being discriminatory of people with autism.[16]
