South Eastern (train operating company)
SE Trains Limited, trading as Southeastern, is a state-owned British train operating company in the south east of England. It operates services to destinations in Kent, south east London and East Sussex, including the domestic services on High Speed 1.

It is owned by DfT Operator, which took over operating the South Eastern franchise from privately owned London & South Eastern Railway (which also traded as Southeastern) on 17 October 2021.

Incidents
Lewisham Train Strandings (2 March 2018)
The Lewisham train strandings occurred on 2 March 2018. Eleven trains were involved in total. There was no heating, communication or working toilets on train 2M50. As a result, some trains were abandoned, even though it was unsafe to do so.[1]
South Eastern Cancellations (30 December 2023)
Due to flooding on the 30th December 2023, all South Eastern and Eurostar trains had to be cancelled. St Pancras Itl was filled with passengers. This affected people going on holiday the most as they couldn't take the train to their destination.[2]
