The Office of the Maryland Attorney General is organized into divisions to carry out the charge, or orders, of the state's chief legal officer[1].

The office's Consumer Protection Division provides communication outreach information to engage the public on issues such as health and identity theft and regarding available services such as for identity theft, foreclosure counseling, and arbitration[2].

The Office also has a public-facing website to submit consumer protection complaints, the Maryland Consumer Protection Complaints Portal.
