Background
editThese NOOK devices were announced in September 2012, and later released in November 2012, offering access to Barnes & Noble’s digital bookstore, magazines, and media content.
Incident
editIn March of 2024, Barnes & Noble announced that they would be cutting off all support for their Nook HD and HD+ devices. This includes:
- Purchasing content from the Barnes & Noble store
- Registering a new Barnes & Noble account
- Signing into existing Barnes & Noble accounts on these devices.[1]
