Alphabetic List

[edit source]

I think it would be good to have all organisations listed in a flat alphabetically ordered list.

As an example if I'm looking for information about a specific company, say AT&T, I currently have to expand the "Companies" subcategory, then I see that AT&T isn't there so I start looking at the other subcategories. I see "Companies Using Forced Arbitration Clauses" - does AT&T use forced arbitration? I don't know, better check, but it's not in there, so I keep going and eventually get to "Technology companies" where I find AT&T. But hypothetically it could have been under "Communications Companies", or "Telecoms Companies", or "ISPs", or maybe something else, so skipping down the list could miss it.

I think it's significantly easier to scan through an alphabetically sorted list or even Ctrl+F the whole page (if I'm looking for a specific name) than to look for various fitting subcategories, expand them, and backtrack a few times, especially when the subcategories and pages are interleaved in a visually not very distinct way.

I suggest adding a way to see all the companies in a flat list. If you think it's worth implementing then I can help with the grunt work. But I'm inexperienced with wiki editing, so I don't know what the best approach is. 2A0A:EF40:DE5:F101:7C05:DEE1:5EBA:6382 11:53, 15 November 2025 (UTC) (itsukatsu)Reply
