My opinions on iRacing

edit

Hi. I've never played iRacing, but I've heard, read about its subscription models on both its site and Steam listing along with reviews talking about it. SackboyD (talk) 06:16, 28 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

what is anticonsumer about their business model? for what I know there's a subscription plus you pay a fee for every track and car. ema (talk) 15:06, 28 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
It's a subscription just to access the game in both online and offline modes, meaning you don't own the game regardless of where you got it from. According to their terms of use and end user license agreement, the tracks and cars are licensed as long as you have a subscription there. Also, there's a binding arbitration in their terms of use. More information about licensing can be found here: https://www.iracing.com/terms-use-eula/
