2003 E.coli Incidents
On March 27, a lawsuit was filed against In-N-Out for allegedly failing to implement food safety measures. The lawsuit alleges a 12 year old girl gotten infected with E.coli after eating at In-N-Out in Kettleman City, California in January 2001. She developed Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome , requiring 28 days of medical attention with 17 of them requiring life saving kidney dialysis.[1] The exact outcome of the case remains unknown.
