Assioma is a product line of power meter pedals designed for cyclists by Favero, a company based in Italy. It was renamed from bePRO in 2017.

Consumer impact summary

• Requires downloading app: The customer is forced to download the company app in order to activate the product. Additionally, per the company's Frequently Asked Questions web page, Android smart phone users may need to "enable geolocation even though the app itself does not use it". This raises the question of privacy for that specific group of users as not everyone is willing to allow Google et. al access to their whereabouts.
• Repairability: Although Favero offers some spare parts, they are limited to external components. Internal troubleshooting requires a specialized technician authorized by Favero Electronics or the warranty will be voided. The battery also cannot be replaced due to the design of the product line.
