According to the FTC, "BetterHelp used a wide variety of tactics to share the health information of over 7 million consumers with platforms like Facebook, Snapchat, Criteo, and Pinterest for the purpose of advertising." [1] BetterHelp hires 'sketchy' therapists,[citation needed] they are overworked[citation needed] and paid well below industry standard.[citation needed] 70% of respondents in a survey had a negative experience with better help[2][3] In UK therapists don't need accreditation to practice unlike US, nevertheless there are bodies which accredit therapists, BetterHelp therapists may not be accredited in UK.
