should external pages that might not be available down that line be archived in some way when placing them in a page ? [futureCon] yes use internet archive when possible or include a fully intact copy of the webpage as a referenced file i see, there is a bot for other mediawiki that can do that automatically. (i can look into it if relevant ) [futureCon] not sure, mediawiki is not where my expertise in context lies. If you end up doing it yourself and need somewhere to host/run it, find me in discord and I'll throw you a server for it. I'm looking into adding some bot-like stuff for security/safety like link scanning/file analysis but haven't looked into auto-citations in this use case. Hey uh, it may be ideal to change this page to cover more than just Louis's rant on Sony earbuds, there's history of them fighting Bleem!, Connectix, and RPCS3 https://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Legal_status_of_emulation#Direct_legal_action (for reference) JamesTDG (talk) 22:36, 15 January 2025 (UTC) Considering we have covered 3d listing of multiple storefronts across two articles. At this point, Nintendo and Microsoft, it is ideal that we also include mention of Sony's attempts at shuttering, the PS3 storefront, and the shuttering of the PSP storefront. I am unaware if the PS Vita had its storefront shutdown yet, but if it has, it may also be ideal to mention it in part of this article. Hell, we should probably have a dedicated article just towards Digital storefront shutdowns. JamesTDG (talk) 13:34, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
