It's basically just a very powerful home theater receiver that has mic inputs with effects. This one works as an amplifier, no sound from the mic. The manufacturer itself is who told this customer to bring it to me, they found me on google for her. I open it up and man it is complicated for a receiver. All the op amps for noise suppression and what not, I inject audio and start poking around with an oscilloscope. There are to many things, I don't know where I'm going. Since my customer was in contact with the manufacturer she gave me the contact. I called them and asked if they had schematics they could send me. AND THEY DID!!! With the schematics I traced the failure to a A to D chip on the effects board. I mailed the company back to thank them profusely for the schematics and let them know it helped me find the issue. Since the effects board is just a small daughter board that is connectored into the system just for the hell of it I asked them if they sold the parts to replace it. AND THEY DID!!!! They sell the entire effects board! I am going to try changing the one chip first but if that doesn't work for $50 I can just replace the whole effects board! If anybody is ever shopping for a karaoke machine take a look at VocoPro! The one I'm working on is DA-9808-RV"</blockquote> <ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5O12fwVPZtM random livestream with louis rossmann & cat(both wiki & animal) </ref>
