|For years, subscribers to ''F1TV Pro'', the highest-tier subscription, enjoyed flexible access to live streams of Formula 1 content, with some fans using a third-party mod (''Multiviewer for F1'') to watch multiple onboards or feeds simultaneously. This feature wasn’t officially supported, but it became popular among dedicated fans who wanted a more immersive race experience.
|At the start of the 2025 Formula 1 season, F1TV restricted concurrent streams on ''F1TV Pro'', effectively blocking fans from using the multiviewer workaround. At the same time, F1TV launched a new, more expensive tier called ''F1TV Premium'', which included “official” multiviewer functionality (up to 4 feeds at once) alongside a few extra perks.
