After the lawsuit, the Terms of Service was updated to expand the arbitration clause. Life360's Terms of Service includes an arbitration agreement which users must accept to use the app.[1] This clause was expanded in July 2025. Opt-out options were not clear and Life360 had not notified users of the Terms of Service update.
