[edit | edit source]Movies Anywhere notified users[when?] of an opt-out change in their Terms of Service (TOS). As per the email, the user is already opted into a new updated agreement and will be under those conditions effective as of June 12, 2024.
Impact on consumers

In addition Movies Anywhere stipulates that "You may not and agree not to redeem an unauthorized, expired, invalid, or used digital code...", thereby allowing the company to remove content which it has deemed to meet that criteria[citation needed].
