[edit | edit source]In January of 2025, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina filed a complaint against Greystar for violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1[2]. In this filing the Plaintiffs allege that Greystar, along with five co-defendants, "shared competitively sensitive data to generate pricing recommendations using RealPage’s algorithms, which also included anticompetitive rules that aligned competitors’ pricing"[3].
