Background
[edit | edit source]Oculus Quest 1 was introduced on 21 May 2019, and received fifty operating system versions. It entered extended support on 31 January 2023, with this notice[2] which was followed by this archived support page from 22 February 22 2023,[3] which states that it will no longer receive new version updates but will continue to receive security updates until 2024. The current version of this notice as of 28 February 2025 states that critical bug fixes and security patches were provided until August 2024.[4]
