My closest guess is that they simply don't have the moderative capacity to deal with the sheer volume of videos. And they could also be struggling against false reports behind the scenes as well. I'm unsure whether this topic is relevant to this wiki...
[edit source]The goal of the wiki is to "document a new generation of consumer exploitation that bears no resemblance to issues of the 1950s-1990s". Is this topic relevant ? Is Elsagate consumer exploitation ? Or is it simply the unfortunate inevitability of the existence of the Internet ? I'm unsure... Plankton (talk) 15:38, 8 June 2025 (UTC)

[edit source]YouTube and its parent company Google have neglected to stop the proliferation of this content on its platform.
My closest guess is that they simply don't have the moderative capacity to deal with the sheer volume of videos. And they could also be struggling against false reports behind the scenes as well.
