Allibris is an online store for books and media that sells on their own website, as well as ebay. As I have no idea how to format a wiki, I will leave the info I have here for someone else to edit.
Allibris makes it extremely easy to buy books from their ebay store, but somehow if I try to cancel just moments later at 2AM on a Saturday, it is too late to stop the movement of a book that won't ship until Monday or later because of "automated processes" They want me to receive the package and ship it back at my own cost, rather than save us all the time, reminds me of a gym membership. They sent a couple of emails
Hello,
Thanks for writing back regarding your order.
Due to the fact that most of our orders are processed very quickly after being placed, we’re usually not able to cancel orders before they’re sent out. Our distributors are required to ship items within 2 business days, but many will ship within just a few hours.
I’m very sorry for the inconvenience. When the item arrives, you’re welcome to return it to us for a refund – just follow the instructions on the bottom of your packing slip.
If there’s anything else I can help with, please let me know. Thanks for your time, and have a nice day!
Regards,

*****THIS IS AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE*****
Dear [],
Thank you for contacting Alibris. Due to the automated nature of our system, we are unable to cancel an order once it has been placed. I know this is a disappointment, and very inconvenient. Once you have received your item you can return it for a refund. Please follow the return instructions on the packing slip you receive or from your eBay account page.
Thank you for shopping with Alibris.
