Coca-Cola had a history of conducting invasive and deadly animal experiments–including cutting open chimpanzees’ faces in order to conduct taste tests and force-feeding chemicals to rats to test “caramel color.”
 
In 2001 the 500 million dollar lawsuit, Sinaltrainal v. Coca-Cola was filed in the Florida Third District Court of Appeal, which alleged that Panamco, a Colombian Coca-Cola bottling company, assisted in murdering several union members.  In 2003 Coca-Cola was found not liable, although an attempted boycott was made under the name "Stop Killer Coke."
