The Meraki MS390 is a high-end series of Layer 3 network switches manufactured by Cisco Meraki from 2019-2025. Unlike every other switch sold under the Meraki bradning at the time, it was based on Catalyst hardware and software. There are many variants in the MS390 series, but all share the same platform and firmware. These switches share identical hardware and software based off of the Cisco Catalyst 9300 series of switches. The 9300 series was originally designed to be configured locally with a console port. The MS390 has a functional console port and runs a very similar firmware, but Cisco has locked all access to it via software blocks.
