In 2022 a class action lawsuit was filed against wallmart in Florida mainly alledging that Wallmart falsely inflated product weight, misslabeled weight of bagged produce and overcharged for sold-by-weight clearance products.[1] While Wallmart denies any wrongdoing they agreed to pay $45 million to settle the case in 2024 [2]
