Polaroid Zip printer: Difference between revisions
Appearance
The Polaroid Zip, released in 2015, was a pocket-sized wireless printer that used “ZINK” paper instead of ink cartridges. Heat activated dye crystals embedded in the paper to produce smudge-proof 2×3 inch prints, that can also be used as stickers. Unlike older instant cameras, it worked through a phone app via Bluetooth or NFC, making the smartphone the camera and editor while the Zip handled instant, ink-free printing. |
